Cells: Cells are the basic unit of life. All living things have one or more cells.
Mitosis: Mitosis is how cells divide to form new cells. During mitosis chromosomes are passed on from the original cell to two daughter cells. Mitosis produces growth.
DNA: DNA is the abbreviation for deoxyribonucleic acid.DNA is found in the chromosomes inside every cell in your body. The messages chemically coded in the ladder-shaped strands of DNA pass on characteristics which are inherited from one generation to the next.
Chromosomes: Chromosomes are made of molecules of DNA and proteins called histones. DNA found in chromosomes contains the genetic information that directs the biological activity inside the nucleus of a eukaryotic cell.There are only 46 chromosomes in cells nuclei.
Nucleus:The cell nucleus is where the genetic material DNA is kept in eukaryotic cells. The cell nucleus is bound by two membranes that have several openings called nuclear pores which allow the nucleus to communicate with the rest of the cell.
Genes: Genes are functional units of DNA that determine a particular trait or character. In eukaryotic cells, each gene can be found in a distinctive location on the chromosomes called a locus.
Double helix: the structure of a DNA model.
Meiosis:Meiosis is a special form of cellular division that produces daughter cells with half the number of chromosomes as the original parent cells.

There are many differences between the plant cell and the animal cell like that the animal cell doesn't have a cell wall,vacuole,chloroplast.
